Even since we’ve planted some mint seeds in our garden, I’ve been lovin’ me some fresh mint tea! You can serve it hot or as a cool refreshment, you can also carry it with you in a bottle on the go if water is getting a little boring, simply add a little stevia or honey for sweetening and you’re ready to go!
Ingredients
- 10 springs of fresh mint
- 3 teaspoons of green tea
- 4 cups of water
- honey or stevia to taste
How to prepare your tea
- bring water to boil
- add boiling water to ingredients
- let your tea brew for 3-5 minutes
Not only is mint tea great for settling an upset stomach, it is also thought that mint may have benefits as an anticancer food. Just like mint, green tea is also proven to reduce risks of certain cancers, it also lowers total cholesterol levels and improves the ratio of good (HDL) and bad cholesterol (LDL), out of its many other health benefits.

Thanks koko, I’m loving your blog
I’m having some problems while preparing my quinoa, it seems like it never ever cooks enough, not sure if I should soak it overnigh or maybe it got a little old… no idea?
