Exercising, to me, is like a form of meditation.
It brings me to a glorious place of serenity and clarity where I no longer react to the “monkey mind”, the “chatterbox” or however you like to call those uncontrollable thoughts that keep spinning in your mind and interfering with your life.
When I’m out there, hitting a sweat, I am in my own world, a world where I can give all that I’ve got, no matter what is going on that given day, I can focus on becoming a stronger me, inside and out!
Out of the many benefits regular exercise has to offer, (better body composition, better overall health, boost of self-confidence, boost of energy, etc.) FEELING ALIVE provides a general sense of well-being and is simply what encourages me to keep going, day after day. The power of connecting with our bodies and minds is simply overwhelming!
My Fit Station is about sharing this journey with you all in the hope of inspiring you to find your own “groove”. Whether it’s dancing, running, weightlifting, yoga or all of the above, I guarantee that physical activity will transform your life, if you give it a serious try.
